Preventing and Responding to Workplace Bullying

'Express Your Interest' to attend a unique Case Study Panel Discussion presented by IOH.

This is an excellent opportunity for those involved with managing people, workplace injuries, return to work coordination or health and safety to understand and evaluate workplace practices in order to prevent and respond to workplace bullying.

The Panel Discussion is based around a hypothetical workplace bullying case. The panelists highlight an integrated risk management approach from preventative measures to complaint management and resolution with insight into appropriate actions at various stages of workplace bullying.


1. Introduction and Outline of Case Study
2. Prevention Strategies - Policies & procedures, bullying risk assessments, audits, specialised training, consultation
3. Complaint Management – Internal/external investigations taking into account procedural fairness/FW Commission & WC Commission legislative requirements, Medical assessments & treatment, Independent psychological assessments, Rehabilitation services including RTW planning, monitoring and case management
4. Resolution -Treatment needs beyond the closure of workplace interventions (transition to alternate roles or employers, Vocational assessments)
