The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued a public warning notice to warn businesses about the alleged misconduct of a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) provider.
With WorkCover NSW moving to the new WHS Legislation, commencing 1 January 2012, it is essential that businesses are clear on the changes; however, it is clear some providers may be using deceptive conduct to exploit naive employers.
WHS is essential in creating a productive and safe environment for your workforce and clients. Businesses must also ensure they meet legislative requirements. To do this, employers should ensure they use a known WHS partner, who they can trust and who will work with them to create a valuable and effective WHS system.
Below is the complete ACCC warning notice of the alleged misconduct.
