Current Roles

Hunter and Central Coast: Fee for Service Physical Rehabilitation Consultants

IOH is currently seeking appropriately qualified persons to join our Hunter and Central Coast team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. We have cases to allocate immediately, both for one off assessments and case management.

Requirements

  • Be tertiary qualified in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation will be well regarded, but is not essential to be considered for this position.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Awareness of the commercial nature of Injury Management.
  • Be strongly motivated to achieve solid outcomes.
  • Comcare Accreditation preferred.

IOH Wollongong: Physiotherapist

An exciting opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in our Wollongong office.

The successful applicant must:

  • possess tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, as recognised by the NSW Registration Board.
  • possess or be willing to possess Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance as required by the NSW Registration Board
  • have already gained or be willing to gain Workcover accreditation, by attending a day course provided by Workcover on ‘Improving Outcomes: Integrated, Active Management of workers with soft tissue injury’
  • be prepared to work under the Australian Physiotherapy Associations Quality Assurance Standards.

This is a varied and challenging role. The ideal candidate will have an interest in musculoskeletal conditons along with a strong work ethic and excellent organisation and communication skills. A special interest in hand therapy would also be an advantage. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional environment delivering a high quality service to our clients.

IOH Wollongong & Parramatta: Rehabilitation Consultant

IOH is currently seeking appropriately qualified persons to join our Wollongong and Parramatta teams in the role of Rehabilitation Consultant.

The successful applicants will be required to provide comprehensive services to companies to assist with injury management, rehabilitation, injury prevention, WHS and other related industry issues.

Duties include but are not limited to workplace assessments, ergonomic assessments, risk assessments, functional assessments and associated case management activities aimed at returning injured employees to suitable employment.

Requirements

  • Be tertiary qualified as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
  • Have tertiary qualifications recognised by one of the following associations or registered with relevant State registration boards: Australian Association of Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapist Registration Board of NSW.
  • Awareness of the commercial nature of Injury Management.
  • Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle

Desirable

  • Experience in providing workplace rehabilitation services or risk management services.
